- Remove all small furniture and breakable items from the installation area (fish tanks, computers etc.)
- Disconnect all gas appliances (if applicable). Please DO NOT attempt to do this yourself. Call your local propane service or plumber to disconnect and reconnect your gas appliance.
- Disconnect water to your ice maker (if applicable) by closing the shut off valves.
- Toilet bowls must be removed for bathroom installation. Consult your local plumber for assistance.
- Maintain a room temperature between 65-75 degrees for at least 23 hours prior to installation.
- Electricity is needed for many of the installer’s tools, be sure power is on.
- If you plan on not being home at the time of installation, please leave instructions with us as to how we will gain entry into your home as well as a phone number where you can be reached if needed.
- Remember to leave any pets in a safe place away from the installation area.
- Remove bed linens if the installers will be moving your beds.
- Clear closet floors of all items to provide a 2 foot clearance from the floor upward.
